I hope Paul liked the timeout down 6-0. So, far the Panthers have had an answer.

Sounds about right. If the Panthers can hit some early 3s to get going we definitely have a shot. Need to keep Reuvers in check too. Go Panthers. Um, do you mean to cover the spread? This is by FAR the second best team on the Panthers' schedule this year. I will be at the game and will just be interested to see the Milwaukee rotations and see who never gets off the bench. It strains credulity to think that the result will ever be in doubt. This program is now many miles away from having any legitimate hope to compete with a Big Ten team, much less in a road game. I dunno about all that but I guess man. Enjoy the college basketball. It's a game.

I'm not saying anything. We've just been so torrid from the perimeter. Really proud of the guys so far.

Being outscored 30-12 in the 2nd half. Seems to be passing up a couple of open look three's.

The shots that were falling in the first half just aren't falling in the second. Really good effort from the guys.

The Panthers have a habit of having one good half and one bad half. If they could put a full game together, they could be very competitive in conference season. If not, they will have a hard time in conference play.

I'm avoiding to rip on a kid. Yet, I'm very disappointed in Harrison Henderson this season. Amir Allen, also has been poor this season. I thought these two would be solid players this season for the Panthers.

Bluntly, we need more production from our bigs. There just isn't a simpler or kinder way to say it. Failing that, we must approach the game differently. No recriminations from this corner; just a completely honest assessment.

I thought Wil Sessoms played well. Needed more than 21 minutes. He has 6 rebounds. CJ, Harrison and Amir combined for 2 boards.

lose by 19 although we kept it close for a half. off hand, i'm fine with only losing by 19 to Bucky. could be worse.

So the answer is that we can not only hit our threes early, but hit 70% of our threes early — and STILL not cover the spread.
A complete mismatch once Wisconsin got interested in the game. As expected.
P.S. Interesting tidbit: I understand Wisconsin let UWM compile the box score. The attendance was reported as 37,416.

"A tough game – we played as hard as we could in the first half," Baldwin said. "Then, in the second half the wheels fell off a little bit and we started fouling a little too much. They got to the free throw line – I think there was an 11-0 spurt – that got us."
"It was a struggle in the second half, defending them and keeping them out of the paint," Baldwin said. "We have to learn from situations like this and learn from really good teams and get ready for conference play coming up."
