Stinks we would have to pay so much just to watch for this weekend, but hoping that I can find a stream elsewhere. Rice is a 2.5 pt favorite btw. Most the preseason polls I have seen for the Conference USA have Rice projected towards the bottom of the conference.

However, I checked out it's schedule and was surprised to see that it offers a lot of good sports programming. Three Panther games plus three GCU games (in the Virgin Islands tourney this weekend) brings the cost for me to $5/game, and everything else in the next month is a bonus. I will have it ready to go on Roku tomorrow.

This is an 8 team bracket tournament right? Or are we guaranteed 3 games no matter what?

Ah so to win, we'll need to go 3-0. Anything short of that, we'll play for anything from 3rd to 7th

The one thing I'll add is that the middle two games appear to have been set a while ago. Milwaukee should actually be playing GW in the 4-5 game and Rice meeting UMKC in the 3-6 game. Furthermore, that would have allowed us to play out of the "softer" side of the bracket.

Liberty is crushing Morgan State 68-36 with 10 mins to go, so looks like we would play them if we win.

Here is the bracket for what it’s worth. Maybe we should just make this a tourney weekend thread, instead of a game by game thread? Just an idea. 7th place game would be Sunday at 11am and the 3rd place game is on Sunday at 5pm. For some reason that bracket doesn’t show it, but it shows on their website.

We could have a rematch with Kansas City if we get to the final

Remember, Liberty went to the 2nd Round of the NCAA Tournament last year. Evansville beat Kentucky this year.
