I found out Anthony Passley is playing at Redlands CC from the Butler Discussion Board. He is listed on their roster. www.redlands.cc.ok.us/SO MUCH FOR THE "MISSING HOME" THEORY! -UWMfreak

Anyone with thoughts on how much, if any, that our team misses him? Or if you think we'd have won another game or two with him? I guess its hindsight but I'd like to hear from those of us who saw him practice before he deserted us like the yellow-bellied coward that he is.

Im not sure why so much hatred toward Passley. He wasnt comfortable here, so what.
UWM has been a home of many a wayward transfer. Thats ok. Sometimes you lose one. I dont wish the kid any ill will at all.

I don't have any "ill" will........but if you don't like it somewhere, be a man about it and just say that. Don't make up a BS story about wanting to be closer to home and then turning around and go somewhere further away. I would have more respect for him if he would have just said "Coach Pearl is to hard on me", "I don't like the food in the cafeteria", or "the girls are ugly", or whatever the case may have been.......he could have even said "I just flat out don't like Milwaukee"......that is fine, no big deal. Just don't make up stories.

Here's the problem pnthr30: your're expecting an 18 year kid to "act like a man". Remember how we acted when we were 18?

I remember Lou..........and your point is well taken. I was just stating that I, personally, had no "ill" will towards Anthony......just a little puzzled at his "reason" to leave. I hope he finds whatever it is he wants in a college experience and does well.......If he didn't want to be here, it wasn't good for us, but more importantly it wasn't good for him. To his credit, at least he admitted he made a poor choice rather than making it harder on himself by staying here, or being a "cancer" to the team.

I totally agree. What frustrates me so much is the "advice" that these young men are getting from the adults in their lives is so often not what is best for them. Rather, it seems like parents, coaches, etc. all have their own agendas. Not sure that is the case here, but it sure wouldn't surprise me.
I also wish him the best.
