My new favorite tweet, on the subject of ARod’s TD pass to A Jones: “... I'll bet when Aaron Rodgers drops a glass in his kitchen, it spirals gracefully into recycling bin. @susanschorn”

Could we possibly acquire Usain Bolt?!

Could we possibly acquire Usain Bolt?! Bob Hayes was a success for the Dallas Cowboys in the late 60s because, if memory serves me correctly, he played football and ran track in college, so he didn't have as much to learn. Bolt is pretty tall as well as being fast, so in that respect he would make a good target. But he'd have to learn route-running and how to get separation from defenders, skills that are not required on the track. I can't see Ted Thompson taking a flyer on signing Usain Bolt. Brian Gutekunst has shown himself to be more adventuresome, so who knows?

From what I can gather, the Packers were "tired" from all the fun they had in L.A. before the game. Sigh!!!

Packers move to 8-2 and now hold the #2 seed in the playoff race.

Rodgers pass to Williams reminded me a lot of the Montana to Clark pass. QB rolling out, under pressure, and lofts a pass into the end zone. Williams catch was a lot more difficult than Clarks was i finally saw a video clip of "the catch." i was underwhelmed. I am sure it was a challenging catch, but it really was just Dwight Clark going up to catch the ball. The defender didn't jump with him, and Montana's pass was on target although high. Williams's catch was as he was falling down, on a tough angle, and he still managed to come down in bounds for the score. Even allowing for my obvious bias in favor of the Pack, i think Williams's catch is a more impressive play than Clark's catch.
