I bet we could get DeVry and ITT Tech to join the HL, no?
We have to leave this gosh-forsaken conference. But who'll take us in from the rain? Sigh...

My guess is that the plan is to add a school like SIUE by 2020 or 2021 and go to divisions. I guess that we would be in the West with Green Bay, UIC, IUPUI, Fort Wayne and SIUE. I sure hope I'm wrong and will be happy to say so! No need for divisions. I would be for 12 teams, if that means 22 conference games.

I doubt that they will go to divisions, unless they add teams past 12. Which I don't see happening

Can someone remind me again exactly why the league decided to add No. 276 Fort Wayne? I mean, their NET rating is even lower than ours!!!

Couldn't we just expand to a 22-game league schedule and eliminate all non-D1 games?

Couldn't we just expand to a 22-game league schedule and eliminate all non-D1 games? I don’t think that’d be a bad idea but we’d need a 12th team in the league without losing anybody. Is there still talk of a Bellarmine or Southern Indiana joining the league straight out of D-2? Or is there a chance someone like Robert Morris could still join the league? As of right now, I’d have to assume we’re going with 11 teams next year.

I'd like Bellarmine! Seriously.

I'd like Bellarmine! Seriously. I’d definitely prefer an upstart transitioning program over a consistently mediocre (or worse) Division I program like SIUe or Chicago State.

I believe so. I don’t know much about them except they are located in Louisville (or the Louisville area) and had a good rivalry with Northern Kentucky when they were D-2

Bellarmine is moving to the ASun next year. Same conference we poached NKU from, but this is a little concerning for anyone who wants to see them go the same route.

I think that Bellarmine needs to get the hell out of the CCSA or whatever it is and go with us.
