I believe that ended a 13-0 run by Oakland.

NKU 64 OU 63 F. McDonald 3 with two seconds left ended a 13-0 OU run and was the game winner. March Madness excitement! Yes it did.

Does anyone know whether, in the last timeout, Greg Kampe's final direction to his players was "...and whatever you do, under no circumstances should any of you guard Drew McDonald, the best player in the league!"
It was a brave rally by OU, but in the end Kampe finished where he always has in the HL. And the final final game of Motor City Malaise will have its usual crowd of about 1400 souls, most of whom this year will have driven up from the greater Cincy area.
Gosh, won't it look great on national TV!?
Good thing it's not being played at the Nutter. That would be SO boring.

And Kampe falls to 3-6 all-time in the Horizon League Tournament. The guy can't coach in pressure games!!!

It's not easy to win in the Horizon League Tournament ... and Greg Kampe and Steve McClain, like Brian Wardle and Tod Kowalczyk before them, are proving it!

Further research reveals that the four coaches mentioned above have a combined Horizon League Tournament record of 13-23, with only one finals APPEARANCE. Wow!!!

Wardle, it is NOT a newspaper's job to be a cheerleader for your program. You could suggest MORE coverage, but you cannot dictate HOW your team is covered. Just as in the tiff with Rob Demovsky, a hell of a good reporter, you are flatly WRONG!!!

Wardle seems to have the same disdain for the press as he does for his own players.
I’m glad he’s out of the conference.
