Thanks to the true fans who continued to remain interested in this team and cheered it on until the final buzzer.

9-22 season. Can't say that I saw this big losing streak coming, but looking forward to next season with some solid looking recruits coming in and hopefully some more developing from guys like Abram and Roy.

11 game losing streak to end the season. Not ideal. But an interesting stat is that they held a 2nd half lead in 8 of those games. A little more depth and this team would have had a legitimate shot at making a run.
I mentioned this earlier, but keep in mind that Bruce Pearl’s first 3 seasons at Auburn were:
2014/2015: 15-20 (13th in SEC) 2015/2016: 11-20 (13th in SEC) 2016/2017: 18-14 (11th in SEC)
Obviously, his last two season have been drastically different. It takes time to get recruits (not just JUCO players who are eligible) when you have guys transfer out, and it takes time to develop them. PB has done a great job of filling scholarships with quality high school kids, and also brought in 3 transfers with a very high upside. And he was able to hang on to Shae Mitchell, who I think will be a great player for us.
Not sure about you guys, but I’m pretty excited for next season.

Pat Baldwin is not Bruce Pearl. As of right now, Pat Baldwin is Ric Cobb II until proven otherwise.

Well, let's just judge Pat Baldwin as Pat Baldwin. Different era's. All different cases.

That's fair, PNP. I'll judge Pat Baldwin as Pat Baldwin, then: Based upon what I've seen, he's terrible.
Drives away talented players (can't wait to see who bolts next), can't draw up a competent play coming out of a timeout, team as a whole regresses as the season goes on, inexplicably continues redshirt Shae Mitchell even after CWN's departurem(which I guarantee you will lead to Mitchell's early departure)....
These are my observations after 2 seasons. I have seen no improvement, whatsoever. As you know, I go to just as many games as you do.

If I'm not mistaken, not one player Baldwin has brought in has left. Yes, not a good sign that he can't keep players that is not his recruits. As, I said in the goals thread. Other than Barnes, the whole roster is his. The redshirts can play and it's time for wins.
