I'd love to see a .500 record. I honestly think that's all I need to get excited for the future. Really? I need a LOT more than that. Been a busy week for me so I haven't checked the board very much. I am probably one of the less knowledgeable fans on here if I'm being completely honest. I haven't really looked at the roster for next season and who all is coming back but with all the transfers out I assume we will be lacking some experience next year. All that said, it appears to me that most coaches when they take over a team need 4 or 5 years to really get their system and players in place. Obviously next year is year 3 for Baldwin, and he will be guaranteed coming off 2 straight years of sub .500 records. A .500 record, in my relatively uneducated mind, would be a big improvement and would show we are headed in the right direction.

Can’t wait to see Courtney in action next year. If Baldwin can sign his brother I would call it a coup. Last week talked to Julius Martinez in the ticket office. Came to UWM from Houston and appears eager to sell more tickets and put people in the seats. He believes that given the demographics, a great place to play, and with the new guys playing next year there is a bright future here at UWM. I know we have all heard it in the past but let get going. The ideas and goals I have read recently indicate that the time is now. The current team played hard but lacked depth and consistent shooters. To mesh guys from different programs on such a short notice after the departure of three starters is a difficult task. Give PB credit for keeping their heads up and fighting to the end. The recruits have to keep coming. I like what the two coming in bring. They appear tough, smart, and on the upswing. Here is hoping all goes well from now until next season.

Pounce, here is a housekeeping question for you - wouldn't the Courtney Brown postings be better placed in the recruiting category? Same for the earlier Omar Thielmans postings.

I guess you may be technically correct. But I am not that entrenched in decorum at my age. I tend to read all posts no matter where they are. Thanks for the advice though.

I don't disagree with that. I do think it gets lost to the causal posters or the many I hear from who don't post but just come to read info here. So, that was my mindset to put it on the top. I will move it, most think it's better served in that spot.

Thanks Pounce. As one who does not participate in other social media platforms, I am very appreciative of all you do on this message board.

I'm curious if Jamar Madge will be on scholarship for only this season for from here on out. Seeing as he was awarded it in February, I'm guessing he received CWN's but that's pure speculation. If not, I wouldn't mind saving that for a potential transfer.
