Your were reading my mind as I'm ready to turn the page....
TE'JON LUCAS (Illinois), HARRISON HENDERSON (USC), OMAR THIELEMANS (Arizona), SHAE MITCHELL (RS freshmen), COURTNEY BROWN (Freshmen), C.J. WILBOURN (freshmen) are coming in 2019-20
JAKE WRIGHT & VANCE JOHNSON are the only two Panther seniors on this year's team.
I think most have said they can't wait to have Lucus at the point guard spot with Roy moving to the two spot. You can't teach 6'10 in the Horizon League and that is what Henderson brings from USC and a whole year practicing with the Panthers. Not sure why Shae Mitchell redshirted this season, as the Panthers could have used 6'7 guard/forward type player this season. Omar Thielemans has not played in the NCAA. All I know is Miller brought him in at the Arizona. Sounds great on paper, yet paper doesn't score points and rebound and such. Courtney Brown sounds to be having an excellent senior year high school. I don't hear to much about Wilbourn.
As for the returning players. I trust Roy! Abrams is either a machine or a no show in too many games. I do like the upside in Amir Allen. Will Sessoms would be better served to just be an inside player. Not sure why he shoots the three, as he is 21% on the season. We need him as a junk yard dog type player. Bobby Arthur-Williams & Byrce Barnes, I will take a pass on commenting on them.
Coach Baldwin will be going into year 3, other than Barnes the whole roster is his. I think it's very reasonable and fair that this team should have many more wins. If not, when or why?

I'd love to see a .500 record. I honestly think that's all I need to get excited for the future.

I will try one: How about not having any players transferring? Sad that this is one is a legitimate concern these days.

I don't know if it's a goal, but I would expect a "Candidates to replace Baldwin" thread to pop up sometime next season, if next season's team regresses throughout the season like his first two have.

I’ll say a reasonable goal for next year is to get a home game in the Horizon League tournament. The team should be better if there are no major transfers, and finishing top 4 in conference should be a reasonable goal.
I’m not sold on Baldwin as a coach but I’d have to think the 2nd big exodus has something to do with simply having some players recruited by Rob Jeter (Brock Stull, Bryce Nze, Jeremy Johnson) and Lavall Jordan (Jeremiah Bell, Carson Warren-Newsome, August Haas) not being as fond of the current coach. It’s understandable; they signed up to play for one coach and they end up playing for another (or 2 others), and I wonder how many of these players would have left a year earlier if LaVall Jordan went to Butler a few months earlier. Now that Coach Baldwin is recruiting his own players, I’m hoping that transfers will decrease.
I will say that if the Panthers are still in the bottom third of the conference showing no improvement next year, and especially if it’s the same case 2 years from now, it may be time to think about trying again.

Lots more wins. Lots.
This next year will be the first year of “true” accountability for his tenure. Obviously the timing of his arrival was bad and the blood letting of the roster would’ve arguably have happened before last season had Butler hired LJ in April instead of mid-June. Now that this roster is his and there is legit optimism, there are no more excuses.
Also, no impactful transfers.

Baldwin hasn't had one transfer that he brought in.

I heard from a source close to the program that the goals for next year are a top-3 finish in conference, 24-25 wins and a top 100 RPI. Should be an interesting season!
