I love our guys fight each game, I really really do. They never give up. But, at some point we need to start winning close games or it starts to come down to the coaching IMO. Not trying to get into an argument about past coaches, just stating it. I am optimistic that we can come out and beat the only team worse than us in the league tomorrow and hopefully come home without an 0-5 road trip. Roll Panthers.

They have won some close games. UMKC and Western Michigan come to mind. Does the coach get any credit for that?

All is not lost but definitely a challenging scenario. In looking at the standings and then the schedules for the teams ahead of us what makes it really tough is that it may yet come down to a tiebreaker with the likes of Youngstown State and GB which are both not in our favor. As I look at this the most likely team to jump ahead of based on remaining schedules is actually Detroit. If we can beat them at home and split the series maybe somehow we can win a tie breaker. I don't know ..so many variables. We really ourselves in a tough spot losing a potential tie breaker with the likely suspect, YSU. That foul by Amir ...man....anyway.....I do agree with that our team really fights and hangs in there. Maybe with a few more guys and more depth next year .......

Is coaching Abram's running the baseline for traveling when the ref does tell you can't? Is coaching Allen fouling Quisenberry for a three point play with 8 seconds left? Is coaching Roy missing the first of two free throws with 5 seconds left?

We have 7 games left to play. We've lost 4 straight unfortunately. Realistically we'll need go 6-1 or so, which would get us to 10-8 in conference. Do you think, based on what you've observed thus far, that this is remotely possible? No way! There was no sense of urgency from anyone outside Roy and Abram for what was on the line in this game from anyone. That is alarming.

Why all the embarrassment? YSU and Milwaukee are similarly rated and the game played out that way. Like I said early in the season, it is pointless for us passionate diehard fans to have expectations for this team regarding its final position in the conference or any specific game. Just sit back and be entertained. We have no control in the outcome of any game this season. Now we need a little help in other games. These are the bottom feeders that the Panthers need to see lose. These bottom feeders will likely lose some more games, guys. As long as the Panther coaching staff and players do not think the season is over, they will be OK down the stretch. I look forward to seeing how it pans out. Come on Panthers, let's beat CSU tomorrow and have a good finish to the season! I wish we could all spend as much time in the sun as you do. Then we could see the rainbows and unicorns, too.

And the worst part is now we have to just sit and wait for the thread to be hijacked by Jeter’s disciples. Pre-emptive whining. I must be reading a discussion board.

After the CSU game (currently at the bottom of the League standings), the final six games are against the Horizon League teams that are currently 1st, 2nd, 3rd, fourth (tied), fourth (tied) and seventh in the conference standings. That’s going to be tough.
