And I was able to confirm with my own eyes that walkons have their names on the back of their jerseys. All is right with the world again!

"We're still incorporating all our guys and still getting used to the things that will help us win," said coach Pat Baldwin, who lost his three top scorers to transfer in the off-season. Eight of the 11 players who saw action against Drake weren't even at UWM a year ago.
"We've just got to find more of them, and continue to work hard to get (to a winning) level."
"We got out to a decent lead and it allowed our guys to feel good about themselves," said Baldwin. "I think the bottom line is we gave up some open threes toward the middle part of the first half that kind of opened them up and gave them some confidence. That started their run that did us in, and we just couldn’t recover after that.
"Certainly, without question, this is a disappointing loss because we were ready for this game. But Drake ultimately took control, finished off the first half well and kind of cruised and coasted and did all the things they needed to do to keep us at bay.
"We’ve got to regroup from this and get better. We’ve got a lot of work to do."

3 for 23.
Know that that is. That is our stat for 3 pointers. 3 for 23.
At what point as a player and as a coach do you say lets not settle for a contested 3 pointer, and run a play that gets us closer to the basket?

To the best of my knowledge, no one in attendance got physically ill!

At what point as a player and as a coach do you say lets not settle for a contested 3 pointer, and run a play that gets us closer to the basket? It seemed like our offense for most of the game (even down double digits in the second half) involved someone dribbling the ball for 25 seconds while everyone else is mostly standing around and taking a well contested shot as the shot clock runs out. I know there is more going on than that, but there was no urgency in the play calling. Successful teams can win without scoring 100 points a game with a slow pace, but it still requires a lot more movement, more and better passing, and thus, more relatively open shots near the basket.

Some players should be taking three's. Yet, I will call out DeAndre Adram. He needs use his size and athlete style and get to the basket! 1-8 shooting. 1-6 from three. Yet, 9 from 11 from the foul line. This guy needs to attack the basket. Also, Bobby Arthur-Williams, I can't figure out one thing he does well. He starts and gets many minutes.

Anybody know what happened to Elijah Goodman? The walk-on who’s also on the baseball team? Not that I expected him to play a vital role this season but just noticed that he’s off the website.
Also, couldn’t agree more about Bobby Arthur-Williams. What does he do in practice that gets him so much playing time? I haven’t been too impressed with him thus far. Hopefully I get proven wrong at some point. Preferably sooner rather than later.

There simply aren't all that many players available, guys. That's why Arthur-Williams is playing. Surprised to hear about Goodman as well. I thought that he'd play a lot.

Well, I would like to see Amir Allen get more minutes per game than 13.7.
