Now 35-20, tied with Houston for the 3rd best record in the majors and 2.5G up on Atlanta for the NL's best record.

Here we go, Brewers! Here we go! Get fired up, fellas!!! i'd find it much easier to get fired up if the offense didn't disappear for whole games at a time. The Crew has to be near the top of MLB for being shut out.

I don't think Brewer fans flock to the Panther message board.
You know me, GoD, I fire up for all Brewer games regardless the standings. It's a given!

I just don't have Brewers fever. Have been kicked in the nuts too many times by this team after the All Star Break.

That rundown by the Cubs, was big for the Brewers as both scored on the next at bat.

To paraphrase Cactus, "Who would have imagined that it would be the Brewers WIVES who reversed the curse?!"

Consecutive shutout victories over the Cubs! Nice....
The starting pitching appears to be gradually improving. Chase Anderson threw a better game yesterday than he had in awhile. Jhoulys Chacin (now 6-1 on the season) was great today, six innings of shut-out ball (seven strikeouts). Other starters have been decent.
Chacin's effort was followed by single innings from Jeffress, Haider, and Knebel to keep the Cubs scoreless. No one can complain about how the bull pen has pitched so far this season.
The important thing is for the trend to continue.

Expanding a bit on Skapheap's comments about Brewer pitching...
Take away the five runs Albers gave up in the 11th inning on Monday, which was before we learned he was actually pitching hurt, and the previously red hot Cubs scored two runs in 28 innings!
On Tuesday the bullpen got it done without any of the big three. Williams and Barnes covered three scoreless innings. It is good to have that kind of bullpen depth.
As for Boone Logan, I think they are close to designating him for assignment. It would be addition by subtraction. They owe him a lot of money relative to most bullpen pitchers, but they showed last year with Neftali Feliz that performance matters. Or, he comes up with an "injury" and is placed back on the DL for a long time.
