Paul Szelc should never ref a game again. I'm at 35+ games per year for decades now. Never have I seen a ref so thin-skin to give a double T in a total time of 2 seconds.

I made the trip since it was the holidays and u guys and Green Bay are the only horizon league schools I hadn't been to yet. Plus my dad knows Kampe and I got really good seats. I heard what your kid said and trust me, not only was the ref right but there might be repercussions if the ref tells the league office. If you wantt an outsiders take on his trip to Milwaukee let me know. It's your board and you guys seem like good fans so I don't want to invade your space without permission. Good luck against Detroit. We pretty much hate them

The only thing I was told was what (Nze) had said. I've got to find out exactly from Nze what he felt," Baldwin said. "To me, it's unacceptable. We have to have better composure than that. There's going to be a lot of chaos in a game and it's going to be heated. But at the same time, you've got to be composed."

I've upgraded my seats to courtside occasionally simply because they're open. NO ONE cares. Feel free to share your thoughts. What did Nze say to the official?

Tough game last night. It is frustrating to see Nunn push off on most of his shots, but what can you do he's a pure scorer. It has been nice to see Vance improving the last few games as well. We are just in need of a true PG to distribute the ball, but hopefully either Barnes, Bell or Haas can keep improving on that throughout the season.

Barring injury, there should be no concern about the team unraveling because the league's so weak. Despite the loss, I can't see the Panthers going anything worse than 12-6 in the conference. Still, it hurts because it was a home loss to one of the other top three teams. Now Milwaukee will need to make it up somewhere on the road.

He said to the ref, "why didn't you call the f---in foul on them" and he pointed at his jaw. The ref said" what did you say. " He said "you f---in heard me" and the ref t-ed him. When he did your kid waved his hand and said "f you". Probably not the conversation you wat with a ref. I liked your city. Never had cheese curds before. Arena is nice, I figured you should have played the game in the afternoon because the bucks had a game right next door at the same time. The arena was really quiet till you made that late game run. You don't have many fans but they seem passionate. One guy told me that when perl was the coach you got big crowds. All in all a good experience. I'm sure your students in session would make a difference

Disappointing loss, but we should be heavily favored in our next six games. The five game road trip after the Detroit game is an appalling failure by the HL schedulers, but at least every game on the trip is against a woefully bad opponent.
If we get through the first 7 games at 5-2, then nothing will really have changed in the race unless one of the other three contenders starts 7-0, and I doubt that will happen. Worse than 5-2 would be a big problem. OU has more top end talent than anyone, but as last night's game proved again, they are limited by their coaching. They will take some unexpected knocks along the way despite the talent, and probably stumble again in Motor City Malaise. Kampe just doesn't rein in his players enough when time and score calls for it. (No offense meant to our visiting OU fan; just calling it as I see it. Believe me, I envy the OU program right now.)
On another topic, the eyewitness report from the Arena last night was that the crowd was even worse than last Friday against Western. It certainly looked that way on the net. Something like 200-250 people again -- or, as the University ludicrously reported it, "1312." Apparently the problem was not the pre-Christmas rush. Earlier I speculated that the total actual attendance for OU and UDM combined might not exceed 1000 people. I'm going to revise that to 650 -- and I suspect I'm being wildly optimistic.
Surely there are great plans in the works by our athletics brain trust to increase attendance. Secret plans. Vewwy, vewwy secret!

You don't have many fans but they seem passionate. One guy told me that when perl was the coach you got big crowds. All in all a good experience. I'm sure your students in session would make a difference A) Both statements in the first sentence are true. B) Pearl got good crowds. We averaged more in some of Jeter's years. Then one in a succession of inept athletic directors decided we should play in a high school gym. Then, after we moved back to the Arena, another in that succession decided to blow up a winning program laden with talent. So now, voila!, we have the "best" of both worlds. High school crowds in a D1 facility. C) Nice thought. But if you were going to make a bet on that, I'd advise you not to quit your day job.

Your the same guy that said Oakland doesn't play defense yet we locked you down last night and statistically was one of the top defenses in the country last year when we won the league. You want to criticize a hall of fame coach with 600 wins and multiple championships and NCAA bids, that's your right. We had a 19 point lead on you in your building and won by 8 on the road yet you think we were poorly coach. Very interesting

When he did your kid waved his hand and said "f you". Probably not the conversation you wat with a ref. Well Nze should get a nice talking to about that. I know he's pissed but just have to be smarter than that. I liked your city. Never had cheese curds before. If you're a beer drinker, get a Spotted Cow before leaving. It's available everywhere (if the Resch Center serves alcohol, they'll probably have it). It's a WI staple that isn't sold outside of the state. Arena is nice, I figured you should have played the game in the afternoon because the bucks had a game right next door at the same time. The arena was really quiet till you made that late game run. Interest in the program is at it's lowest in quite a long time and the student section is like that for most of every season.

It's ok Grizz, we have some guys on here that like to spread their cancer on here. Thanks, for coming to Milwaukee! Many statements are true. We have many who choice not to come to the games anymore, as in the past. Come on this board and just like kicking the horse.

We need better discipline on this team. I've noticed this a few times ... and throwing the players in front of the bus like after the Western Illinois game doesn't accomplish that.

Eyewitness needs to learn how to count.
This team needs a PG bad. Offense is never easily created. Stull and Prahl have to work so hard just to get decent looks. I feel Vance is turning the corner a little bit. Hoping Nze gets out of whatever funk he is in.
And we got another Jeter mention!
