Panthers had 18 turnovers to NIU's 10. That looked uncharacteristic for a team that has more often than not been the team that had zero (?) 2nd half TO's in the comeback vs Elon. Perhaps Bell's absence contributed?

Northern was making a run and we withstood that run and then took control of the game the rest of the way," head coach Pat Baldwin said. "It just speaks to our guys about their ability to stay resilient."

Resilient has been the calling card (minus Concordia) of this team. In the Black and Gold shootout to hold the lead on FIU and the comeback v. Elon. We hung with Madison, but never gave up. Last night going down 1, then going on a 6-0 run that pushed the game in our favor and then not letting them back in with key FT's and running the offence as needed.

Perhaps Bell's absence contributed? 100%. Bell leads all regular guards with only 8 turnovers per 100 plays (Turnover %), second only to Jeremy Johnson's 7.5 on the team. He needs to be on the court more.
