It never seemed like we would be pulling that one back in. I know everyone up by me was fired up the whole game. Few things to note from me.
1. Vance Johnson - If someone can look up the +/- on him. It has to be dreadful. I hope this is early season miscues, in the Exhibition he looked good. But of the two games I caught this weekend (FIU and Elon) he just doesnt have, what I thought he was going to have.
2. August Haas - I like him last year, but the 3 point shot is NOT his shot. (Credit for the late game 3 under a minute) but man did I cringe when he takes the shot from the elbow, of the 3 or 4 shots I did see him take they all drifted left. So maybe he can figure it out.
3. Barnes and Bell - these guys get this team going. Bell 2 nights in a row pulling this team out of a funk with huge plays and solid D. Barnes is the guy that when he is on the floor, the team looks smooth.
Heck of a 2 game set. I will just wipe away Friday as it never happened.

Vance Johnson just needs to play basketball. He looks scared out there and needs to trust his size. Everything looks like a game of hot potato. Looks to be rushing his shot.

Per Rosiak's recap, Panthers held Elon to 2 FTs over the last 6 minutes. I watched the last three minutes on ESPN today. Elon scored their last point of the game at about three minutes left, to take a 71-66 lead. The Panthers actually closed that lead in the last minute of the game, getting the winning shot with less than a second left. Heck of a way to end the game. If Pat Baldwin had any hair on the top of his head, it would have gotten noticeably grayer this weekend.
