Very exciting news!!! This could be HUGE!!! Let's hope. Speaking of hope how about Coach Val's 2017 recruiting class?? Not bad hey?? Sometimes it is darkest before the dawn . Frankly, I see us rising fast and good times ahead. After a two year hiatus renewing my season ticket packages ....

While I would love to go to the MVC, is it really better than the Horizon League?
Both are one bids league in most cases.

Definitely better....MVC a lot more capable of more than one bid than moribund Horizon. Facilities (sore subject for us) overall much better also across various sports. Would not miss frankly the likes of Youngstown State, Cleveland State, Detroit, Oakland among others

Especially if you consider we would likely be the 12th school in this scenario. Horizon would be losing Valpo and Murray St joins MVC as well. No doubt about it. I would miss a couple of our Horizon League brethren, but not for long. |

Panther Arena with a facelift, baseball at The Rock and (hopefully) nearing completion on a new practice facility. This is probably part of the reason we are being considered tbh. |

Ahh...but maybe we should think twice about losing the dynamic leadership of Jon LeCrone and also the prestigious Motor City Madness.

Should we be get into the MVC, I'd immediately begin making arrangements to be at the next conference tournament. That said, this isn't a done deal. I really don't think it's the end of the world. MVC & Horizon League equals a one bid league. If many think the HL is easier than the MVC, I'll take my trip to the NCAA Tournament in the easier HL than finishing in the upper half of the MVC and turning down a pay for play CBI or CIT bid.
