Zero mid-majors in the sweet sixteen for the third straight year. I'm glad you don't consider Gonzaga a mid-major haha. But this has been a boring year as far as upsets occur. The committee wasn't exactly kind to mid-majors this year(No surprise there).

I think Buckys going back to the Final 4. the two top seeds in their region are gone.

Amazing to me that the on-court play can be so good right now -- with greater efficiency, better shooting, and increased scoring in college basketball than there has been in a long time, pretty much across the board -- and yet the overall product is in a dark, dark place.

well the product is imo affected by the NBA and the 1 year rule. Wisconsin is as good as it is, because it doesnt have rent a players. Guys get 4, sometimes 5, years to mature and grow, and by the time they are seniors the team is damn formidable. This really comes out come tourney time, and the current seniors have been through the tourney wars and have seen everything before. that gives them a big advantage over most opponents, and in the rare cases, like Nova, where the opponent matches them in experience, it comes down to execution.
