I'm fine if they want to contract the NIT and expand the NCAA to 100 teams, but leave the CIT and CBI alone. Those tournaments were MADE for programs like ours!

I'm fine with going to 72. this would have added teams like Middle Tennessee State and St Marys last year. I'm guessing this would mean that there would be one more 16-16 playin and 1 more atlarge pplayin, most likely. Do we call it the First 8 then?

I'm very skeptical that it would have happened that way. they were the last 4 out, by the committees own admission. 4 more slots would have allowed them to be added, and meant teams like Marquette would be moved up to the Last 4 out. Would it have changed the regions? hard to say.
