YSU went 6-7 in non-conference action, including a 4-1 ledger at home and road losses at tough venues at Michigan State and Ohio State.

Cameron Morse - an All-Horizon League Second-Team honoree last year - was named to Preseason All-Horizon League First-Team after averaging 20.3 points per game a year ago to finish as the nation's eighth-leading scorer. This year is more of the same, as Morse is second in the conference and 14th in the country at 22.0 ppg. Francisco Santiago (12.5 ppg) and Matt Donlan (11.7 ppg) also average in double-figures.

Youngstown lost to Jacksonville by 25. They have starters of 6'7, 6'6, 7'1, 6'3 and 6'1. Gonna have to box out well. Wouldn't be surprised if we went to the 5 guard lineup again to speed things up.

Good effort from the guys tonight. I HATE that we let them get a 3 off at the end of regulation. No reason not to foul them and put them on the line. Hopefully that's a learning experience for the guys (and the coaches).
