Great start. Place looks completely empty. It's not like the Tigers good ole days with John Calipari as coach.

Announcers said the Panthers have 8 newcomers. Which I believe adds up, when you add the 2 walk-ons. They said one is red-shirting. I would guess that is Zac Saddler.

Down 7 at the under-12 timeout. Shooting the lights out in the second half.

With Cody on the bench as well.

Memphis are really 2-12 from the free throw line?!

Not bad at all. Very solid games from Cody, Brock, August, Jeremy and Cam. Jeremiah looked overmatched. For a group that had no returning starters, they impressed me a lot.

It's going to be very tough matching up with size of the teams of Memphis, with only 2 big men of Nze and Prahl.

Need something from Bell and Barnes 0-11 from the field.
Cody and August were outstanding!

The observable pattern early is strong second halfs. Haas is a very impressive player

That's going to happen a lot, but what won't happen as much will be taking three free throws in an entire game, or playing against a team that commits four turnovers in the first 30 minutes. If Memphis was just a little more sloppy with the ball, this could have been a tie game at some point. A lot of positives to take away from this one.

Postgame comments from Coach LaVall Jordan www.youtube.com/watch?v=C46G1-zFtjE&feature=youtu.be"I thought we came out strong," Milwaukee head coach LaVall Jordan said. "Defensively, I thought we did a good job, but keeping them off the glass was a challenge. And, we didn't turn it over a ton at 12, but they scored off them and sparked a couple of runs – we had two stretches, one in the first and one in the second half where it got away from us. But I was proud of the guys to fight. They continued to fight – we had guys on the floor and our effort was there." "I thought we prepared well," Jordan said. "Guys were focused on the scouting report and locked in at shootaround. Losses hurt. No matter when and no matter to who, but we will grow from this. These guys are passionate about being a good team and they are connected and working hard together."
