A four year extension. i'm glad to see her extended, but wondered what took so long.
Rechlicz didn't have a lot of wins until last year, which was the first roster which was all her recruits, and last year represented a huge jump up. i thought there was a chance she might get hired away, but perhaps she wasn't regarded to have proven herself yet. A similar or even better record this season could make her a more attractive candidate for the next round of coaching vacancies.
i don't expect another nine or ten win improvement in record in 2016-17, but all the indicators at the end of the season seemed pretty positive.
The team has three reliable scorers in Steph Kostowicz, Jenny Lindner and Sierra Ford-Washington. Kostowicz and Lindner are juniors, and Ford-Washington is a senior.
If Jordyn Swan can stay healthy, she can be a contributor. Jaye Two Bears is probably the most highly touted member of the incoming freshman class, and she has been working her way back from a serious knee injury. If she is all the way back, she could help the cause significantly.
Alexis Lindstrom started out the season hitting a hight percentage from three point range, and slowed down toward the end of the season. Alyssa Fischer came in with expectations and took awhile to adjust to the D1 game as Coach Rechlicz runs it; at the end of the season she had two or three games where she was really important to the team's success.
The Panthers will also have Bailey Farley, who had to sit out last year after transferring from Loyola (Chicago). She is another shooter from distance, a skill prized by the coaching staff. Farley will have eligibility as a junior this season.

I think it will be a fantastic season! we have a great returning core with four newcomers who look to all be very talented. In addition to TwoBears, I have found a lot of ink on Odegard as well. Impressive stats from state championship game 17/23 and mn miss bball candidate. Looks like a stud as well. Cant wait to see all of them in action! GO PANTHERS.
