If we're recruiting a juco PG i'm guessing he knows that Jordy is gone. I was wondering the same thing but I just find it odd that I haven't heard any rumblings about him going anywhere (at least not any specific teams or visits scheduled). And the video of practice posted on Instagram for the Panthers showed Jordy at practice and LaVall walking over to show him some things. I have no idea what to expect for next year. I guess it can't hurt to prepare for the worst and hope that we won't need him until Jordy graduates if he stays? The anticipation is driving me crazy. He's a big piece to the puzzle for next year. Not that I expect us to contend with Akeem and Austin both gone, but without Jordy we could be looking at finishing below the Penguins...

Why do you think that recruiting a JUCO PG would mean that Jordy is gone? All LJ has to do is watch video to see that the Panthers had 1 reliable PG last year. In fact, all he needs to view is the last 7 1/2 minutes of the GB loss to witness what GB was doing to Jordy to realize he needs another ready to play PG asap. JJ averaged 36 minutes a game in league play last year, I would hope Milwaukee would have a competent back up to scale those minutes back to 32-33.

Teams expressing interest in Jordy are Florida State and San Diego. Sounds like he may be out in FL visiting FSU on May 6/7 according to his Twitter.

LaVall Jordan and his staff should focus on impact 5th-year transfers rather than JUCO's. Braun's sabotage blasted a crater in the program and the roster. This isn't going to be pretty, but if we want to rebuild they should focus on 5th-year transfers who will have plenty of talent.
I'm not saying there's not a talented JUCO to get in the late spring or early summer (Ryan Allen, etc.), but when Boudreau got those guys he had an established recruiting relationship with them. Great JUCO players who are signed on with little to no previous recruiting relationship are done by high-majors shortly after the NJCAA Tournament. The JUCO talent pool is largely picked over.
Focus on high school seniors who you can build up over time, and focus on 5th-year seniors who are just now declaring transfer. That's how the coaching staff can mitigate next year's major downturn.

I agree, if we add a couple 5th year seniors and are able to keep Jordy, we would be fairly competitive in the HL.

Most of the talented 5th year transfers are gone. Guys like Jordan Price don't really bring a "wow" factor. We can offer PT but who cares if they're not that good? Also, the idea of "rebuilding" with 1 year rented players is pretty nonsensical.

I agree with you Pantherholic, I am not worried as much about this coming season as I am about the seasons following. In my opinion, Coach Jordan needs to recruit balanced classes (a mix of high school, JUCO and transfers). I mentioned Batemon from Riverside, because he not only is set academically, but he also has 3 years of playing eligibility (like Tiby did).
