I'm willing to bet most of the players will stay as I've been saying since March 17th. I'm not sure why people are surprised about the softball questions, it's only 1250 WSSP, which nobody really listens too.

Did Braun actually go on the radio? As a relatively new fan without strong emotional connections to the Panther program, she has just continually failed at basic PR. I really don't get it. In my opinion, this interview was the best she has ever sounded. She certainly does not have the strongest public speaking skills. Some of the other interviews she has done have been a complete disaster. That being said, Chuck & Wickett didn't press her on any of her answers. Had they done that, who knows how things would have went. Hope all these sports radio guys give us this much attention during the regular season! If this disaster proves anything, it's that there are quite a few people out there who DO CARE about Milwaukee Panther basketball. Hopefully the media now sees that (Doubtful tho) I'm all on board with this post. The only thing I'd say is that while I agree Braun did better today, I wasn't impressed with the questioning - the question I put in got asked, but only the second half so it totally changed the context. I'd also argue that while she did much better today, she set a pretty low bar that you could basically step over - and she STILL didn't get pressed. Sent from my SCH-R970 using proboards

I felt the interview today skirted the questions. She gave answers but tip toed around what the media was actually asking. I think if pressed she would crumble and show her hand. It'll be interesting to see how the next few months play out as we head to the end of the fiscal year. What decisions or action plans get put into place...or none at all.

Wickett and Chuck said an hour before the interview they weren't bringing out the pitch-forks.

Redshirt here...wouldn't it be great if recruits actually want to come here and the players stay in order to prove all the worry and negative perception wrong and bring the attention to themselves? At the end of the day, if I we're a junior or senior in HS this situation could attract me...."Pantherwalleye commits to UWM...2 years later....Panthers make the tournament and win first round (not the old first round)! ....Pantherwalleye makes double dobule in cushion win, setting the record for most double-doubles in a season!!" Just saying, its about the players who are the ingredients of success here,.... success is everyones short term memory and I'd probably never be on this board outside the season if it weren't for the new coach. I'm pumped for the 16-17 season. The Bucks didnt tear down our arena(that was a close call as clear/open as it looks)...the Admirals are investing in the promotion of the Panthers, we have a new Coach!, we have point guards and a super athletic current roster coupled with the faster offense pace of the new coach....Id come here to make the City remember me if I were recruited...to prove that success is my memory.... Go Panthers!

Does anyone know how long her contract is? I'm assuming the average length is between 4-6 years. Michigan recently brought in UCONN's AD and he signed a 5 yr deal.

Well with all these pledges rolling in, we should be able to afford sending her on her way. Sent from my SCH-R970 using proboards

Amanda Braun is horrible... And BTW MUPanther, 105.7 is the top rated sports talk station in the city. I wanted Jeter out, but the AD should have been gone first. Stop being her mark.

I don't think MUPanther is being her mark, I think he's playing the actual devil's advocate.

Top sports radio in Milwaukee is correct, with a rating of 1.4 is not a massive listening crowd, which ranks that 18th in Milwaukee which is very poor. Going by my signature you can tell I'm a Sirius XM guy, so hate Milwaukee sports radio as I hate Packers talk 24/7, which results in local radio guys very poor when they do talk about the college game. With all that said, I have zero idea what that has to do with Amanda Braun or quote " being her mark".
