Panthers to play at Montana State, per source. My guess is Dec. 1st. Went 14-17 last year with a young team last year, were lead by a freshman. Only had 2 Seniors on the roster and only one made a real impact. This is a good series for us IMO. I don't know if this a series. The Panthers needed to play at Montana this season after they played at the KC in 2014. UWM wanted to off set the cost to fly out to Montana and Montana State needed a game.

Solid non-con, wonder if Memphis is a one time thing. Glad to see Loyola back on the schedule.

Couple of thoughts
-I wonder why there is no Badger game. I guess we'll have to enjoy the winning streak over Bucky.
-I wonder if Montana State, Ohio, Loyola, Western Illinois and Jacksonville are H/H series.
-I like the spacing of games. No crazy 5 games in 7 days.
-Looks to have a nice Christmas break before Horizon League play. Guessing it starts December 29.
-The exhibition game versus Concordia and Western Illinois (Dec 17) are at the Klotsche Center. There is graduation Dec. 18th at Panther Arena, so maybe that is why it's at the KC. Or the Admirals have a game.
-I'm happy and shocked a non-conference schedule came out on July 22nd. Most years it's mid September.
-Overall with no so-called power playoff conference schools on the schedule, it's a very tough schedule.

No huge name schools, but a lot of really solid programs.

The tournament teams from last season are East Tennessee State (Vegas 16), UC Irvine (CIT), Montana (CBI), Belmont (NIT), Ohio (CBI) and South Dakota State (NCAA).

Bucky has a new coach doing the scheduling. So do we. It would be a shame if Bo Ryan's philosophy of playing all the D-1 teams in the state is not going to be continued. It's certainly possible that Bucky decided they have nothing to gain by beating us and as we showed last year, lots to lose by losing to us.

Well, I believe Green Bay/Wisconsin new deal is 3 games over 6 years.

Well, I believe Green Bay/Wisconsin new deal is 3 games over 6 years. Maybe they want to rotate us in the other 3 years? Really, it makes no sense for them to play both us and GB every year. Really a no-win situation for them. Playing every other would make more sense from their standpoint and still fulfill their "duty" of playing the in-state teams. Hopefully that doesn't mean we have to wait 44 years to beat them again. Not sure how long I'll be around...

1. South Dakota State 28 2. UC Irvine 75 3. Ohio 81 4. East Tennessee State 88 5. Belmont 95
6. Memphis 139 7. Montana 145 8. DePaul 199
9. Loyola Chicago 238 10. Montana State 260 11. Western Illinois 262 12. Jacksonville 289
Without looking up the exact RPI numbers of past Out-Of-Conference schedules, this appears to be the best OOC schedule Milwaukee has played in a decade, or more.
I'm curious... if this new coaching staff could secure an OOC schedule this difficult right off the bat and have it finalized before the end of July, when previous MUCH LESS competitive schedules were never released prior to September, that begs a question... what exactly was the scheduling philosophy of the previous regime for the last 10+ years?
In any case, bravo to the new staff for an amazing slate. This is how it should always be!
