Something tells me the "Personal Reasons" might be playing time. He'll be at his 3rd program in 3 years, yikes.. Anyway, best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

Feel the way you want, fine. Please, I have zero tolerance for this crap. He can't finish the year with his teammates. He is not playing, so he is going to take his ball and run again. We don't need a cancer like that.

Do we really want a guy that quits on his teammates with 4 games left in the regular season? A question to ponder...

Let's be a little more objective and a little less judgmental. JayQuan is maybe 19 or 20. He first committed to a school a long way from home whose coach left before he ever got there. Didn't feel comfortable and before ever playing a game transferred to Milwaukee, much closer to home. Got messed around with by the NCAA before being released to play. Had a nice start with the team and then pulled a hamstring. That really restricted him and when he tried to play through it he couldn't play well, and he fell deeper in the rotation.
It's easy to fall into a funk at his age. It happens to a lot of kids. Most of them just aren't playing a sport that makes it so public. Calling him a "cancer" or a "quitter" is harsh. I hope he reflects on it and comes back to us. That would be a sign of maturation. And if not, I truly wish him the best in whatever he does next.

The irony of "adults" judging a freshman's maturity while they rush to conclusions over a personal issue of his...
If Jayquan were to leave, does he still have his redshirt year to burn? I can't remember how that works with guys in his situation.

These youngsters want to play and It is their right to move on. Has either Jayquan or Justin developed a loyalty to Jeter or UWM? I have to believe UWM is full of kids who dreamed of going to some other school. The program will survive. Good Luck to him and if he does return let us hope he is the one better for it. There are a few underclass men in the City Conference I would rather see wanting to play for the Panthers. That is when the program will be on par with those other schools.

If he signed to play for Prohm last year at Murray St., he still coached there last season. I'm only disappointed because I really liked what I saw. We are missing out on a 4 year talent. Good luck to him with whatever he decides or wherever he ends up.

It's more complicated. Don't judge the kid based on the playing time talk. It's on his end. He's a good kid who is having some difficulties that plenty of us have had, let him plow through it.
If he doesn't come back, don't jump all over him. If he does, don't jump all over him.
It's easy to say things about someone when all you see is what's on the surface.
