I'd say third, because the Panthers could beat Oakland at Oakland (YSU and NKU showed that's doable) and be in the driver's seat there.
Hard to not think of what the last 11 days would look like if Akeem Springs wasn't hobbled by his knee and JayQuan McCloud wasn't nursing that bad hamstring. Now Jordy has some oblique thing.
Can't play well when the defense is so porous. NKU has a good big in Jalen Billups. We better defend him, and make sure someone marks the three-point shooters. I'd hate to take a loss at NKU.
Lose this game, then you're playing for fourth. I still think the Panthers are playing for second, although they'd need to win out IMO to get it - Wright State and Oakland are likely to take at least two losses, but MKE would have to win out to get there.
Turns out it's not going to matter - I can't make it for the full tournament anyways. I can't lose the Saturday at work.

I work in retail management and I simply can't lose three work days to do this. The VERY likely alternate scenario would have had us hosting on Tuesday and then traveling to Valparaiso on Friday. I would have had to juggle some things, but it's doable. Sigh. |

Good point. Has Cody been released on bail yet? And I suppose after he serves whatever sentence he gets he'll get sued by the official -- who surely is still traumatized by having to witness such violence!
