Valpo is playing much better defense. Althou, I'm not sure I'd call what Milwaukee is doing right now even playing defense.
They are a step quicker and they are out-hustling Milw, getting all the rebounds. It doesn't help that they are sending five to the rim and Milw usually only one.

It be nice if we knew how to play defense, or rebound.

When you are dropping three after every shot and the other team is still able to get a two pass layup, what's the point? Might as well send everyone to the offensive boards and take your chances.
Not to mention that's just simply embarrassing and should never happen.

Tough loss, but an expected one.
I'm confident we'll bounce back and win the next few games.

14-0 run was the tough blow at the end of the first half.

14-0 run was the tough blow at the end of the first half. The 14-0 run was the game. The Panthers and Crusaders played 35 minutes of stalemate basketball. The five minute run was Valpo continuing to play hard-nosed defense, attack the rim and create mismatches with Fernandez and Peters on one side of the court. Milwaukee continued to do what we do, which is fall in love with the three when it falls and start jacking them up the second they get a sliver of space, forgetting that the early run of made threes came when they attacked the basket and freed up a ton of space. That 14-0 run is the game.

Assuming the stat sheet is right, 18 offensive rebounds for Valpo!!!! ?? not to mention the totals.....MKE no second chance points no bench points no fast break points....ouch. Lets just turn that around and move on to the next game TEAM!

They definitely won the rebounding battle - 43-21 overall. Yeesh. In our six losses, the Panthers were outrebounded in four of them. In a fifth, they tied

Well it's damn near impossible to get 2nd chance points when you are only sending one to the offensive glass and the other team is sending all five.
