On a separate matter, whose crazy idea is it that Monday night games are a good idea under any circumstances? Is there some good reason why, now that we have ten teams again, we haven't reverted to the Thursday/Saturday and Friday/Sunday paired team league schedule? That is so much more appealing to and convenient for fans -- not that the H League seems to care one iota about fans. (Let me say one word on that: Detroit.) I'll second that. Monday night games suck. This ESPN deal sucks. This is why we have so many 3pm Saturday games and so many Monday night games. It's bullsh*t. Did we get a handful of more ESPN2 and ESPNU games? Yeah. But ESPN3 kills the accessibility of the Horizon League Network. By the way, the schools spent a considerable amount of money upgrading the production of HLN and now it's all an ESPN3 joint. Whatever.

ESPN has nothing to do with the Saturday/Monday schedule for the most part. None of those games are TV games. The 3pm games are set up by UWM, trying to get more kids at the games and avoid Bradley Center games at 1pm and 7pm. The 7pm on Saturday's for the Panthers are been poor over the yesrs. All the Panthers games at home on Saturday, none are on ESPN.

Spent several minutes at the end of halftime/beginning of the second half waiting for hotdogs to finish grilling. The concessions manager couldn't anticipate that lower prices mean higher demand and plan accordingly?
