Will the game really be on ESPN3? I'd have thought it would be on the Big Ten Network, and inaccessible to anyone who doesn't have cable.

Can't wait to see who the JS sends to the Twin Cities to cover this game!

Time to win. And not let the referees determine the winner.

I usually use the mirror app on my phone/tablet to project streaming games on my tv in case you have a smart tv, smart blueray, roku, etc device that accepts mirror technology. Sometimes I get a small delay in sound but usually well worth it.

Two Big Ten wins would be awesome. I think it will happen.

The last time Milwaukee had multiple wins over power conference opponents would have to be 2005 ... right?

Yes. That's also the only time it has happened at least since the modern era (Bo's hiring) began. 3-2 that year. Wins against Purdue, Bama and BC, losses to UW and KU.

Special to the JS! "Minnesota's beloved Golden Gophers lost a heartbreaker, 77 - 69, to Coach Rod Jeepers and his Milwaukee University of Wisconsin Painters on Wednesday at the fabled Old Barn. The defeat marked a low point for Coach Richard Pitino, who had not previously lost an exhibition game against a lower division school. The Painters improbably were led by Mack Tidy, a hirsute specimen with an unrefined 'Y' style game who played the game of his life and finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. This reporter was unable to interview Coach Jeepers for reaction as Coach Pitino's press conference ran long and the Painters' bus had already left on a long, no doubt happy journey back to conference action in the WSUC. Coach Pitino indicated his players were obviously distracted by the upcoming holiday, as well as their laser focus on the Big Ten season."

Oops, forgot (erased from memory) that one. Not a bad year; the three power conference teams that beat us that season all played in the tournament, with one (Wis) losing in the EE, and another (Ill) in the final, both to the national champ.
