very exciting recruit. i still wonder what the whole story is. either way, can you imagine having Ford, McCoy, and Waters on the same team? that's incredible size for a mid-major program.

Waters committed to Pitt originally to play for Ben Howland, but Howland left for UCLA and Waters got out of his Pitt letter of intent. That's all I read into it. www.jsonline.com/sports/coll/nov04/275847.asp

Looks like we are beginning to steal recruites from Detroit and beyond. Walt Waters looks like he will be a nice addition to the squad. Ryan Childress? anyone have any information on him? Any relation to Josh Childress (Best afro in the NBA!) ;D ;D probably not but I hope he will also make a big impact in the years to come! Can't wait for this Sat! Hope to see a big crowd for the game!!!!!! I know I will be loud and in the student section!!!!!!!!!!

Great size for a (so-called) mid-major team? With two players at 6-8, one at 6-9 and two more legitimate post players at 6-10, that's terrific size for any program guys, regardless of classification.
