Any idea what they are doing?? I have not heard. I'm going to the Admirals home opener on Oct. 20th. If I were to guess, it's a seating area for people to eat.

Bucks lost last night but the arena and court looked fabulous and it would have never happened without the move and the renovations.

The memories are numerous and perhaps the reason I always hope for a Panther Victory. Number 1 was watching Kareem's debut as Lew Alcindor. Watching Dean Meminger's freshman debut at MU. Sat at press row until the real press showed up. Watching George Thompson as a sophomore against Loyola. First Buck Night game, you could get a seat for a buck. Watching the Celtics beat the Bucks with Dave Cowens at center and then meeting the team at Laveers on Prospect and having Cowens and Fred Roberts buying us drinks all night. Cowens was a great guy. The Milwaukee Classic that featured LSU with Pete Maravich and Dave Cowens with Florida State. Both were sophomores, MU won the tournament with Thompson. Finally, watching Jim Chones playing for St. Kate's. They won state for private schools. He was a wonderful high school Street and Smith All American. That reminds me of John Johnson at Messmer. Still in my mind the best ever in Wisconsin high school lore.

The best Panther experience? Watching Von McDade light it up against Rick Majerus and Utah State.

Some great memories: *Panther wins in HL conf championships leading to NCAA bids. *70-71 Bucks season with Lew (Kareem) and Oscar *Steve Swedish orchestra as musical entertainment at early Bucks. Simpler time but also more pleasant. *Witnessing Maurice Lucas half court shot, the Hughes twins dad flipping off McGuire who was standing on scorers table *Elvis concert 1971 *Old Sentinal Sports Shows *Old Folk fairs *All Star Wrestling - Crusher and the Vachons *HOliday On Ice *Circus
so many more...

Ok I am old. Von McDade did light it up against a Rick Majerus coached team. It was a great game. Correct my memory. Men bantering. God help us all. Where did he coach? Ball State? St Louis? Marquette? Utah?
