UWM men's soccer lost 3-0 to tulsa today. Since it was there I didn't get a chance to see just why they got killed so badly. Needless to say, I hope this was a huge wakeup call for the team.
On a side note, marquette beat loyola this evening, and of course there's already an article in the JS about it. I'm not sure if UWM will have one or not, but let's just say that even when UWM was ranked 7th in the nation they didn't have as many articles as marquette has had about louis bennett taking over their program. Pathetic.

UWM lost again today, falling to 0-2. uwmpanthers.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/recaps/082706aaa.htmlI wasn't expecting them to beat SMU, but this is still a horrible way to start the season. They should get it back together next weekend when they host a tourney. Wisconsin had a pretty solid weekend; they also lost to SMU 1-0, but they beat Tulsa 3-0 today.

Remember, our basketball team started 0-2 this year against Division One. Not time to jump off a bridge yet.

I'm not worried yet. This weekend will be a good time to rebound. The following tournament with Washington and Creighton will be difficult, but manageable. If things go well, I think a record of 2-3-1 is realistic going into the game against marquette. As long as they win the HL and have at least 10 wins this season, I'm happy.

Oops, I meant to say "even if things don't go well, I think a record of 2-3-1..."
