You are correct, to clarify I think Jimmy is the only graduate to actually see time in the world cup. Although it's a matter of time before others will. Tony Sanneh assisted on Brian McBride's first goal against Portugal in the 02 Cup. I believe that he started 4 of our 5 games. McBride even made a comment about how it was just like when they were playing in Milwaukee (McBride and Sanneh starred for a few years with the now defunct Milwaukee Rampage). Sanneh was fantastically solid in the '02 cup - some people even making the suggestion that he deserved a spot on the All-Star team that year. I didn't agree, but he was certainly very good. In any event, he had a much bigger impact than Jimmy Banks, who, while I like and appreciate very much, was never a very good player when held to the standards on the World Cup. Of course the US was so throughly outclassed in Italy 90, it was hard to say if any of our players on that team could do anything. Tony Sanneh was, and is, the best player to ever come out of UWM. p.s. Klinsmann for Coach! Wow I spaced on that one, I completly forgot. I know Tony's game is good I've acutally had the pleasure of playing against him.
