Score makes it look A LOT worse then it was but it doesn't matter.
A loss is a loss anyway.

It was great to see Daron Sutton in Buffalo, cheering on the Panthers.

Hopefully people will realize that this game was waaay closer than the final score indicated. It was an exciting ride while it lasted. Now it's time to look forward to next year

can someone plz make a youtube clip of all the missed over the back loose ball fouls that weren't called? I know we were playing with house money and all tonight, but Nova tried to let us win and the refs weren't having it. I just want to drink/cry while watching the non-calls on loop. You can include the 2-3 shooting foul calls where our player failed to touch the shooter. I also want a shot or 10 of Jeter as he fails to play Panoske, Moore, and Lyle enough when they were some of our best players. No player on either team changed the play of the game as much as Panoske when he was in. When you have less than a 5% chance of winning, you absolutely have to pay attention to every matchup advantage.

No recriminations.
The fight was there; the shots weren't.
It was a tremendous turnaround season and a magical ride at the end.
Sorry to see Jay-O go out on a 1 of 15 night, while at the same time looking forward to having a 6-4 shooting guard instead of one who's 5-8.
Though I don't see Austin as someone who's capable of carrying a team, it's obvious that he'll be an integral piece for the next two seasons.

Nice run, guys. Your team hung in there tonight against a much superior team. You acquitted yourselves well. Congrats on a good season.

Thank you and thanks to the players and coaches for a remarkable season. Bottom line for me: the Panthers didn't embarrass themselves like Colorado, Western Michigan and American did. Instead, they stood in there for 35 minutes and battled No. 5 Villanova toe to toe.

I now have people in my bracket pool who don't understand why I would pick Milwaukee.
I went 15/16 today and they say I should have been perfect. I don't wanna be perfect picking against my team.
Very proud of the run we went on. It was a hell of a ride.

Austin will be the best player in the league when he's a senior. His tendency for deep threes tonight wasn't ideal, but as a 50/40/80 shooter with ideal wing size it was good to see him decide to take up the responsibility of keeping the team in the game. His work around the basket is great, he can defend and finish, and his 3-point shot is ideal. All he needs is a handle and he can be great.

JJ played a great game off the bench against a very good team on his biggest stage yet: 5 points (should have been credited with 7), 6 boards, 2 enormous blocks. His and Javon's improvement will be integral for a 2014 team that should be able to compete with most anyone.

The refs were fine. The shooting was not.
To me, Nova's speed on defense was huge. Their ability to close and swarm was something we haven't seen all year.
More JJ please.
Some of our players weren't ready for that stage.

The shooting was fine when they had a open looks. It was hard to score. There were about two blocks on Tiby and Lyle that had to be fouls. Villanova speed was something the Panthers havn't seen this year.

Austin will be the best player in the league when he's a senior. Are you sure that it won't be Matt Tiby, Akeem Springs or a recruit like Jordan Stevens or Warren Jones? I really like Austin's game, but he's not the kind of guy who can score off the dribble or create his own shot. I think he compares favorably with Joe Schultz, Ray Perine, Pat Easterlin, Pat McCabe and Jason Frederick.
