Isn't Ian Eagle calling the American University Eagles a little unethical? We're done here. You win.

For the record, Nova's schedule this year has been wretched. They went 1-3 against teams that are currently ranked (also beat Iowa, who is now a play-in team they're so bad) and other than that played a bunch of nothing: Lafayette, Mount Saint Mary's, USC, Penn, Lasalle, Rider, etc before launching into the mid-major-esque 2014 Big East schedule. Aside from Kansas their best non-conference wins were against Delaware and St. Joe's (two eventual conference champions), and they only beat Delaware by 4. Creighton famously took them out behind the shed, winning both games by a combined 49 points. I do not think Villanova is as good as their seed despite their SOS.

I agree with a lot of the written articles that think Dayton and the Buckeyes is one of the most exciting games od the day. Cities are about 70 miles apart. Drive should not be difficult one, from either city. Schools don't seem to play ea. other very much.

I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on Villanova, or even pretend like I’ve seen them play this year, but after glancing at their schedule/results for the year I have to agree with your assessment. What perplexes me was the Seeding Committee chair saying that Villanova was a strong contender for a #1 seed and it was a tough decision to give them a #2 seed. How? I was under the impression that the committee took bad losses into consideration. Villanova was stampeded by Creighton twice this year, and had four of their wins come down to the wire in over-time against the likes of Iowa, Butler, Marquette, and Providence. Regardless, we are obviously big time underdogs. But what makes me feel good about at least having a slight opportunity at an upset is two-fold: 1.) They’ve been taken into overtime and even beaten by some not-so-great teams, and have had a number of poor performances. So there is always the possibility that we luck out and catch them on an off night which would level the playing field a bit. 2.) They aren’t a very big team. Pinkston will likely give us problems, but I don’t think we will be overwhelmed by their size

We better all enjoy this while we can for all us Panthers fans and supporters should prepare for what could happen after the tournament. If Jeter gets a chance to move up, get ready for the bottom to drop out of the program for there is no way, NO WAY, that this current ______ of a so-called Athletic Director will be able to attract quality candidates to replace Rob let alone hire one. Just get ready, and I am very sorry to write this for I love the school, the team and what these kids and coaches accomplished. What they have overcome despite the lack of internal leadership and support is beyond amazing. Sincerely !!! But current 'leadership', and I use that term with great hesitation, will really mess up, what she has already messed up if she has to look for a coach. Still, go Panthers. They have a shot against 'Nova. It would be a huge upset but the Panthers do cause some match-up problems and have shot. Go Panthers! GOOD LUCK !!

As I was referring close to home. JO is currently in Milwaukee(not Buffalo) today. Which will make the trip 11 hrs or so from Milwaukee to Buffalo. As far as being close to home. I will drive 6hrs from the Bronx to Buffalo instead of Milwaukee. As far as the anology of Milwaukee to Dayton, I don't understand how you can compare out of state line travel for your POV(Milwaukee to Dayton), then compare in state travel(Bronx to Buffalo). Wow.

Villanova won the Battle 4 Atlantis beating Iowa who has been ranked all year and beating Kansas says alot. After blowing a huge lead before losing at Syracuse. The Big 5 rivals in Philly are wars! LaSalle last years Sweet 16 darling and St. Joe's is A-10 champs. Big East mid-major comment, I'll forget it was said. 4th in the RPI. There schedule was better than you are giving credit to it. That being said Milwaukee can beat Villanova!

It's on the internet. It must be true. I know everyone in the program at every level. They are all good people working in good faith towards common goals. As in any organization there are tensions and disagreements, and let's face it, this program has had and still has many challenges. But this is a laughably bad moment for anyone to give any credence to individual resentments and paranoid allegations. Some people just thrive on blind negativity. Why don't we take a page from our players? They hit rock bottom but wouldn't give up. They wouldn't go negative. What was the most emphatic thing that Rob said in the locker room after the championship about why the team had succeeded? "We CARE about each other!" How about we try that? Pull the oars in the same direction. Ditch the negativity, ignore the congenital naysayers and help wake up this sleeping giant. Let's be proud and STAY proud.
