I'm so ready for this game. I have a different feeling going in, then in 2011.

As far as I know, no 16 seed has beaten a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. A little bit of me hopes we get a 16 instead of a 15 so we can change that... Correct. In men's, at least. #16 Harvard beat #1 Stanford in the '98 Women's tourney. In the late 80s (I'd say) Georgetown was behind almost the whole game against a Pete Caarrill Princeton team. The Tigers had a chance to win it but didn't on a questionable no call. I can still see the Princeton coach with the arms questioning why the call never came. I also remember JI Jr. (The dad) slapping George Leftwich Jr. on the butt after the game. (The dads played together at Caroll High (NE DC); the sons at Princeton.)

We need 5 more people or this bus trip doesn't happen. If you can't go, donate to the cause. It would be such a shame to get this far and not even be able go make a fan bus happen. 25 for students 60 for alum/fans. Includes ticket and bus fare, as well as other goodies. I will buy you a beer as well lol I'll donate 60. How do I do it?

This may be too late, BUT IF someone would like to go and is a little short of funds I'll buy you a bus ticket.

They did reach 25. I don't know how many total they got. Too bad it's not on a weekend, tough for many to take off of work.

It's probably too late. I'd message B-Mo on Facebook.

The six hour bus ride, seems really long. But, I'm thinking about it! The bus ride is likely 9 (or more) hours long, which is why they're departing UWM at 7am for a 6pm CT tipoff. In my experience, a *car going approximately 6-7mph over the limit, without hitting any bad Chicago traffic, and only stopping 2-3 times for gas and quick bathroom breaks is a 6 to 6.5 hr drive to Wright State. *Notice I said car, not bus.

UWM just emailed all students about the game and they are having a viewing party at the Gasthaus. Correct, but the TVs go off at 8 p.m. sharp and the doors will be closed shortly thereafter because the student workers will be leaving for vacation. Go, is it Panthers?!?

What game was it where the Gasthaus literally cut the TVs before the game was over? (This is several years back.)

It was the Panthers vs. No. 2 Kansas at Kansas City in the Yellow Book Shootout on perhaps Dec. 22 or 23, 2004.
Panthers down by 4 with under four minutes remaining.
Overhead lights come on and the presumed guy in charge yells, "OK, everybody go home now!"
"Hey!" we pleaded. "We're only down by 4 on the road to the No. 2-ranked team in the country!"
"Who's 'we?,' " he shot back.
Yeah, I'm going back there this century.

What game was it where the Gasthaus literally cut the TVs before the game was over? (This is several years back.) F*** the Gasthaus. No super-**** the Gasthaus. Until they hire a UWM student/grad/employee who actually has (gasp!) pride in the Uni and doesn't disrespect our men's basketball program?? (let's pretend 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2011 never happened... uggggh)..... I will not give a red cent to that bullsh*t/discombobulated/self-serving (to hell with the campus we are attached to!)/self-loathing 'bar'. Yeah! Put on the Badger Football Spring Practice instead of an HLT game. Well not realistic time-frame wise, but you take my mean. In it's current management- the Gasthaus doesn't give A-single-F*** about Milwaukee Athletics. And that- is a pretty damn big problem for a University that has 30,000+ Undergrad and Graduate students enrolled. I would be ecstatic to see the current management fired and see a new management crew who actually cares about UWM and manages that joint with a passion for Milwaukee Athletics. It won't happen overnight. But- it will happen. Sorry Mr. Gasthaus. But your days are numbered. Comedy Sportz or March Madness? You dug your own grave. A friggin perfect sports spot- on campus- and not only will they not show our games... they laugh us off as "riff-raff/insignificant". Tomorrow night might spell doom for the current Gasthaus "Administration". About all they can administer is sh*tty food and over-priced drinks. I ate better food at Sandburg (and that's saying a LOT- cottage cheese and instant-whipped potatoes are/were about the only safe thing to eat there). Anyhoo.... What I mean to say is- the Gasthaus has so much potential. But the current Gasthaus administration doesn't have a friggin' clue. I'd be willing to bet the manager(s) are all Marquete or Badger fans. It's absurd how they squander that unique resource in the basement of the UWM Union..... But yeah- keep hatin'! Tomorrow might change your mind- Gastho*s. GO PANTHERS!!!!
BEAT WRIGHT STATE (in style)!!!!

It's a shame that the official viewing party is at a downtown bar instead of at the Gausthaus, but given what I read here about the lack of support, I fully understand why that would be the case
