I like this Brewers team as much as I dislike baseball's ridiculous, unwritten "codes of conduct."
Instead of worrying about Gomez's posturing after a deep fly ball, maybe the Pirates should be concerned with their 1-6 record this season against the Crew.

Now they just need to do some work at home.
A 5-4 home record is not very "Brewer like".
I think tonight's game is the toughest of the 6 game home stand, win tonight and they will be solid favorites in each of the next 5.

Actually, a 9-1 record on the road seems a lot more meaningful even though they all do count the same. The last team to begin the season this hot away from home was the 1994 Braves, who started 10-0 with Maddux, Smoltz and Glavine. Yes, quality starting pitching is designed to win over the long haul.

I wasn't meaning it as if the road wasn't important. I want them to stay solid on the road and play their normal home pace.

At this point, I sure am glad I don't watch MLB or the Brewers anymore.
9 or 10 straight losses now? About to loose 1st place to the Cardinals.

I have long since given up trying to figure out the Crew this year.
After taking four of six from the Giants and the Dodgers, the Brewers not only lose two in a row to the freaking last-place Cubs, they make the Cubs pitchers look like Kershaw and Lincecum.

Yep...
Classic team that plays up and down to the competition.
Maybe it's a good thing we have almost all series against teams with winning records remaining.

Assuming good health, what would be your four - man rotation if the playoffs started today?

Assuming good health, what would be your four - man rotation if the playoffs started today? If they started today it's Lohse, Gallardo, Peralta, Fiers. (Order may be shuffled based on match ups.) If Fiers carries this success all the way to the end of the season then there is no way you cannot use him.

Bad Herrera error. Seems like the wheels are completely coming off.

And of course it's always the classless Cardinals who benefit from Brewers collapses...
