By a little or by a lot, the Panthers need to win this game.

Looks like Valpo is favored by 6 points. We're going to need Austin or JO to be on from beyond the arc tomorrow, and Tiby needs to establish himself down low and get to the foul line. Always a tough place to play, but we absolutely have the talent to knock them off.
I'll be making my first trip down to the ARC tomorrow. Hopefully the weather won't be too much of an issue on the way back. Looks like parts of Chicago are going to get up to 5 inches of snow. A win will make the drive much more tolerable.
Go Panthers!

Milwaukee brings an updated RPI/SOS (after Friday's games) of 126/230 (3-2, 12-6 vs D-I).
Valpo has an RPI/SOS of 217/214 (2-2, 7-9 vs D-I).
Valpo is currently a 6 point favorite after opening at -6.5... it appears Vegas still doesn't trust Milwaukee on the road.

Beat me to it with the odds PantherNation.
DKelly and I will be making the trip too. It's his first trip to the ARC, and it's something like my 6th or 7th time. Do you plan on getting food somewhere before the game? We've done the Buffalo Wild Wings down the street a few times out of convenience, and might again for lunch tomorrow, provided we make it there by noon.
Anyone else braving tomorrow's possible snow and making the trip?

Looks like Valpo is favored by 6 points. We're going to need Austin or JO to be on from beyond the arc tomorrow. Or Cody. Seriously. Cody was responsible for three of our five made 3-pointers in the second half at UIC. Don't forget Cody. Remember Cody.

Hope everyone who drove there got back OK. Roads aren't great in the South Side of Milwaukee.

Just got home 30 minutes ago. It took us 2hrs 50 mins to go from the ARC to downtown MKE. The trip down there (with no traffic or snow) was 2hrs 10 mins doing 7-8mph over.
The road conditions coming back were not as bad as I thought they'd be in Chicago, but were pretty bad in Indiana. I hope everyone else makes it home safe!

Was anyone else puzzled by the fact that, despite scoring the team's first 7 points and looking great, Matt Tiby was pulled out of the game for a stretch in the 1st Half with either 0 or 1 foul? The box score says he entered halftime with 1 foul. He was sat for important stretches of the game where I thought we really needed him, (8 minutes total). Despite him only playing 32 minutes (when he could have played 38, or more, like Austin and Steve did), Tiby finished with a career high 22 pts in 32 minutes, including making several big plays to make it a 6 point game with 5:05 to play.

32 minutes is stll alot of time on the floor for a big man. Plus, he did take a hard fall. Just a guess.

Well, we had a marvelous trip in spite of what the Panthers tried to pass as basketball.
Basically, Milwaukee is now somewhere in the middle of the muddled mass of teams between Green Bay and UIC.
This really has all the earmarks of an 8-8 team, folks!

Disappointing... I really thought we would come back in the 2nd half. 10+ point deficits can only be overcome so many times.. Eventually, statistics will favor the team who has put the other team in a bind.
But I think you have to give Valpo credit. It's pretty cool to see the evolution of the Horizon League. Yes, Butler is gone; but does anyone recall the kind of throwdowns and physical play we saw in the game tonight before Ray McCallum and Norris Cole came to the H-League? (well I guess, other than "us from 2003-2006").
We won all of 8 games last year. 8 f%%%%%g games. We've already won 13 and have a very good chance to win 20 if we can just come out and play to our potential for all 40 minutes (no more digging a hole that we may or may not crawl out of after the first 20 minutes).
I believe in this team (esp. because of Steve McWhorter and his ability to be a true facilitator of the offense completely unlike last years's PG by committee catastrophe).
Kelm needs to step back up as he started to tonight in the 1st half. Cody W. needs to play more. Jay-O and Tiby need to be more selective with their perimeter shots. Arians needs to shoot more- he can rake when he does.
I dunno. I'm just anther armchair point guard who thinks I can see what is wrong or right with this team. But in reality? I don't know sh%%. This team will sink or swim with the aforementioned players, the players unmentioned (I truly believe Malcom Moore and Javon Lyle are a lot better than people give them credit for).
But we finally have a true point guard again in Steve-O- just like Kaylon and Rick Franklin. Will we get crushed by a very good Wright State team or bounce back and get back (hopefully stay back) to our winning ways? Time (-er Tuesday) will tell...
GO PANTHERS!!!!

We really need to have JJ step up his game. The team got that key shot to fall to get the game closer.
