Paid attendance- 2,637 It's hard to get the numbers up when the season ticket numbers are low. You need big walk up crowds every game, to get the numbers up. "Hey, in case you haven't noticed, and judging by the attendance, you haven't..."

I have seen Major League, but I feel this is going over my head. Your original comment lended itself nicely to using that quote by Uecker from the movie. He was doing a radio show and used that line. Similar situation. Cleveland was playing well, but no one was showing up to see them. So: "Hey, in case you haven't noticed, and judging by the attendance, you haven't..." I think the rest of that goes on to say Cleveland is close to 1st place or finally out of last and playing good ball. Something like that. Same thing with us. Panthers are playing well, but not enough people are showing up, so not too many people have noticed yet. The "you" wasn't really directed towards you.

One more post before I go back into hibernation.
You guys should go check out the UNI thread on our game. Good read.
I think their fans way underestimated us based on our last place prediction, and probably a little bit from last year's record. Which is understandable I guess.
If this team finishes last in the HL, then this will be the greatest season ever for the HL, they'll send at least 4 teams to the NCAA's, and I'll eat my hat.

Don't go to hibernation! There was a different guy, so everyone got to bring their beer outside at halftime.

Recognition will come with winning. It was nice to see the game featured on the front page of today's JS print sports section. OMC also just ran this piece: onmilwaukee.com/sports/articles/uwmpanthershotstart.htmlThe series of plays described in the article stood out to me as well. When's the last time you've been so excited for a foul? That block by Tiby was all heart and passion. Fun to root for a team that displays those qualities.

I have always been a fan of the thinking that if ur big men are going to foul, might as well foul hard and put the fear of god into them. It makes guys think twice before they drive to the basket. I mean look at Tiby. He is already intimidating enough, then he knocks the living sh*t out of u and the ball and screams like a wild man afterwards... Thats what i love to see. If he didn't sh*t his pants he sure isn't going to be that bold again.

Tiby's block was a foul, he got the hip in on the body. But it was still amazing!

A wonderful college basketball game regardless of program profile or conference affiliation ... and a very well-coached one at that.
Here's the difference between an eight-man rotation and a 13-man one:
With an eight-man rotation, you have eight guys who can play; with a 13-man rotation, you basically have 13 guys who can't.
In one offseason, Jordan Aaron has amazingly gone from inarguably the program's best player to perhaps its fifth-best.
