As a Missouri fan I thought that you guys played well in Columbia over the weekend. While you only won the one game, you outhit the preseason #10 team in all three games. I was really impressed with your lineup. That being said, you have the most thin-skinned whiniest coach in the country in Augustine. Maybe UWM would have had a better chance to win Saturday if he didn't spend the whole game staring down fans that were heckling his team. Anyway, good luck the rest of the season.

I'm sure the baseball team is disappointed to not have more wins, but as most cold weather teams, the first 20 games nearly every year are on the road.

Yeah the scheduling sucks for college baseball. I really wish they had it in summer and scrapped the summer leagues. What happens is... we relegate ourselves to low majors by simply not being able to practice outdoors until halfway through the season.
I think we have a great shot at the league title this year though.

Anyone going to the Brewers vs. Diamondbacks game on Saturday April 8th? UWM plays Butler in a double header. If you like baseball you'd get to see a triple header. One from the pros and two from the guys who play for the love of the game. ;D

I think we have a great shot at the league title this year though. Doubt it....hey what were the scores of the UIC/UWM doubleheader today?

Yah I went over to Henry Aaron field yesterday for the first game of the double dip and lets just say I was not impressed. Aside from our pitching being horrible...our fielding...omg was insanely bad...but UIC played good ball...the right fielder number 16 had two dingers in the first game and Mark Hallberg as well hit one for UIC....UIC was much better in every phase of the game

Take me out to the ball park... and guess who was playing our friends from Butler all last weekend? Henry Aaron Field is just west of the Sprecher Brewery, on Glendale Avenue, at Green Bay Road. P.S. The X is Sprecher Brewery. Bottoms Up!
