UWM v UIC
Klotsche Center
3:00
Winner goes to the Big Dance!.
And if anyone thinks it wouldn't help recruiting for both the men's and women's teams to send two teams to the NCAA, they should think again.
Let's pack the place, rock the house and give our Lady Panthers a big boost!

And tell your friends they need to buy a ticket, cuz IDs are worth crap in the postseason! WHOOOOOOO!!!! The Klotsche Krazies need to be in full blown looney mode for our gals tomorrow!!!
And it's a legit reason to skip class!!! You're doing your part to help our underappreciated women's bball program.

From the Panthers website:
UWM students will have the opportunity to receive FREE tickets at the Sandburg dorms between noon and 2 p.m. Monday. Once those tickets are exhausted, students can purchase their tickets through the UWM Ticket Office, or at distribution points in the UWM Union or Sandburg Hall for $5 with a valid student ID.

3pm is a really stupid time to have this game but everyone should come out and support the ladies. it's been a good run and they're only one win away from making it great. panther pride doesn't end at the doors of the Cell. hope to see you all there tomorrow.

Even the UWM women must bow at the altar of ESPNU. All hail Esspin and it's Big East main event matchup of...yeah I'm not sure where I'm going with this either. I'm stopping now.

Our mens team was first to rush the floor, that was awesome to see. Great job girls! Congrats on an unbelievable year... we're really getting a hang of this "rushing the floor" thing. ;D

Congrats to the UWM Women! I believe this means they will finish the season with a better record than the men.
Disappointing crowd. Was it that important to have the game on ESPNU? The place might have been packed if it was a normal 7:00 starting time.

Yes I think it is important for the women to get a chance to play on national TV... It's a shame that there wasn't a bigger crowd, they deserved that much! 3pm was a bad time for the game, but a great majority of their other games were played at 7pm and there weren't huge crowds there. They don't need the fair weather fans that only come to be on TV they need great fans all the time!! Congrats to the ladies and good luck to them!!! They made UWM proud!!

I was pleased with the turnout from other UWM teams. Men's basketball, soccer, baseball, and women's volleyball all had at least a couple reps there, most brought the bulk of the teams with them. That was great to see!

It was an exciting game. What was especially good was that Chicago played well. They kept coming at us bring it within 2 more than once.
I agree the attendance should've been better. I took off work and brought two people with me. I can't understand why it was only 616 (at least 200 of which were from Chicago) when it was held on Campus and they were giving tickets away in the dorms.
Those who weren't there missed a great game and a great display of bb put on by a great team. Way to go ladies
