Can the Panthers get rid of Darron Sutton? He's the least of the program's concerns.

Crushed on the offensive boards and outscored by 20 on second-chance points, which is nothing more than a lack of effort and fundamentals. That sounds about right. Same issues and mistakes over and over again this year. That's what has bothered me the most this year. Lots of blame to go around...but it starts at the top.

Rick Majerus stated that the most important position in college basketball is point guard. Aarons is a small shooting guard. The fact that Jeter and staff rely on a junior college kid to run their offense year after year befuddles me. Kay Williams took a year to get others involved. I don't think Aarons will be much better next year. Charles Lee is a point guard but he got away. Jeter can save his program with a point guard. I think he's playing at Rufus King.

Jeter missed out on Charles Lee because we were too focused on the overrated Shaq Boga. Instead, we may have let the conference's next Norris Cole (at least he played like it against us) land at CSU. Austin Malone-Mitchell very well could be the next player we let walk away from us without an attempt at landing him. The good news is that next year this team will have a leader and a facilitator on the court. Steve McWhorter has been the best player on the team at practice all season long. Nobody even comes close. This team desperately needs someone to look up to and lead game in and game out. Judging by practice, McWhorter can have the same affect on the team the way Ant and Kaylon did.

Twenty-two losses, two short of the program low. Seventeen double-digit losses, tying the program low. Seven 20-plus-point losses, two short of the program low (1962-63 and '94-95).
During the inglorious Ric Cobb campaign (1995-99), the Panthers suffered 17 losses by 20 or more points.
From 2001-02 to 2004-05, UWM suffered only three such losses.

Mcwhorter is a short term solution. The Horizon league needs 4 year players. Jeter hasn't kept the pieces together. Arians and JJ need to stick around and develop their game. Which leads me to wonder why every coach is under 6 foot five. The bigs need a coach Rob! Maybe Ric Cobb could be the ticket. The best athlete on the team is Tagarelli. Get a rebounder and a point guard and the future will be good e even with Jeter at the helm.

Arians and JJ need to stick around and develop their game. That's the problem, players do not appear to develop their game under this staff.

Arians and J.J. need to stick around. J.J.: "You coming back to the team?" Austin: "No, I don't think so." J.J.: "You should." Austin: "Why?" (J.J.'s broad smile of enthusiasm turns into a dumbfounded look ...)
