I am a HUGE fan of Bill Johnson. This guy has made games consistently entertaining over the years win or lose with his broadcasts. He has a little bit of Eddie Doucette in him too with his wit and some of the nicknames and terminology. As far as I am concerned I hope Bill is here forever as our broadcaster. In fact, I actually think at some point he should be considered for UWM Athletics Hall of Fame as the top broadcaster of all time here. Side note, love Adrian Tigert on tv and Kevin OConnor on the road games with Bill... Nothing against Jerard but he at times makes the home broadcasts almost unlistenable with his oohs and aahs and mumbling ....wht is that? Hope Jerard improves or leaves frankly.

as long as talking about radio....got to say once again this year kind of cheesy to be hearing radio spots about mens or womens teams taking HL by storm and get with the action, season tickets...etc.....WHEN THERE ARE LITERALLY ONE OR TWO HOME GAMES LEFT? ? How does that make us look, professional? So us unfortunately.. at times

When Bill is working alongside Kevin, the broadcast seems too much like an afternoon show.
When Bill is working alongside Jerry, I seldom have any idea what's going on.
I think the broadcasts would be best-served by having Bill work alone. After all, he's called many of the most momentous games in our history by himself.

Totally agree, Dylan. Especially when it comes to Jerry. I tuned in during the Detroit game (at the KC), and his color commentary made it almost unlistenable. It was the equivalent to mic'ing up a random fan in the stands and hearing their intermittent reactions to various plays during the game. At one point I started counting how many times "that's tough" was uttered in reaction to almost everything that happened on the court. In the end I just felt sorry for Bill having to put up with it.

Not sure if I'm getting this 100% correct, but I did like his description of Mark Pancratz:
Innovator of the floor burn

I love to listen Bill & Kevin on the road. I miss the fact that Kevin was not on this last road trip. I can't say in how Jerry is for home games, since I'm at every home game.
Now, Darron Sutton is terrible on the TV side. Yes, Darron we know what a fast break is.

You talk about a program that needs a boost. Start here. Good news everybody!!! We don't need a new coach - we need a new radio guy!

Bill is awesome!!! I find him to be hilarious and he describes the action very well. Who I can't stand is Ted Davis from the bucks. Talk about not know what's going on
