The Southern Illinois game in '03 was my favorite regular season game of the Pearl era. You knew after that game that this team was dangerous and could play with anybody. That was just a hell of a game.

I think I have to go with Hawai'i.
Other than Fairfield, it's our only win in a non-return game arranged by the event. I remember being jeered by some of the Marquette fans at Goolsby's on their way to a Josh Groban show when we fell behind early and how sweet it was to put the big run on the Rainbow Warriors.
A few of the dunks in that game were jaw-dropping and were only amplified by the foghorn that sounded every time our guys put one through the rim. E. Money also had a sequence where he was absolutely on fire, burying three straight 3-pointers over a 45-second period.
What a showcase for UWM one day after USA Today published an article on the program.

All of these memories of how good we used to be are really starting to get me bummed out.

I think I have to go with Hawai'i. I go with Hawai'i as well ... simply for the fact it brought scottsportshawaii to the board along with his real (and spectacular) friends.
