Wright State also lost in the 2nd round of the HL tourney to CSU in Milwaukee in 2011.

Sometimes it's the little things that count.
On the last possession of the half, Donlon didn't like the matchups on the floor. Knowing that UWM isn't in the bonus and he has a player in the game that can commit a foul and not be in foul trouble, Donlon has Miles Dixon commit the foul with six seconds on the clock. This gives Donlon time to make defensive substitutions, and UWM has an empty possession.
WSU was picked to finish last and are currently fourth. Could Donlon be the Horizon League Coach of the year?

When do YSU fans start the kick UWM out of the Horizon League and put them in the Summit forum thread?

Looked to be about 1500 in attendance. At least no one is seeing how terrible this thing has become.

Just another embarrassing loss. The team doesn't care anymore. Haarsma is incredibly soft; his acting skills are probably better than his basketball skills. Gulley and Aaron can't buy a basket anymore. Haggerty and Panoske are making incredibly boneheaded plays. The fact of the matter is that it seems that Demetrius Harris is the best player on the team right now and he's not much better right now than he was last year when he was buried on the bench.
The scary part is that 4 of the 7 players who are in the rotation right now (Harris, Gulley, Haggerty, Haarsma) are seniors. By comparison, not a single member of Wright State is a senior. We're replacing our best players this year (not saying much, but still...) with guys we're recruiting against Parkside for while a well-coached Wright State team will probably be returning (almost) everyone. Next year will probably be worse.

Boy, what a magical night. From the great basketball venue to the electric atmosphere to the animated head coach and the gritty, talented team on the court. This was something to really be proud of... Wait, what's that you say? That was 2003?! Ah. How far we've come.

I'm officially numb from this season. I just don't care anymore. We'll try again next year, I guess.

Tonight is a good reminder -- don't blame the gym on our steady downfall. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlQ86jXGzWwThe gym doesn't help the situation, but you can achieve greatest -- all it takes is a great coach and dedicated players.

Okay, so let's go through the checklist: 1. A great coach. 2. Dedicated players (at least pertaining to the coach).
