Just ruined 12 years of pr(o)gress. This is highly debatable. I'd say that the program demonstrated six years of real progress from 1999-2000 to 2004-05. |

Exactly right, Dylan. I'm not really sure there's anything to debate. The program's D1 history up to Bo was a footnote at best. Yes there were a couple nice years under Antrim, a few notable wins, but it didn't amount to building anything.
Bo started from scratch, laid a base, and Bruce ran with it. It's been a steady ride through mediocrity ever since '05.

*UWM Coach Rob Jeter signs 5 year extension at $800,000 per year. School wants to lock him in similiar to past extensions and increases as alledged heavy interest from Missouri, Valley, SEC and Big 12 schools. Coach Jeter denies and says he is a Panther!!! Loves this team and group. Has turned down firm offers from various schools in the past like Penn State, Miami, Iowa State, Bradley among others. Should put to rest all the trolls on the Panther Discussion Board who now will only listen to sports talk radio and take up bird watching. Recognition that if look for a replacement it might not work out, someone might not be as good or even worse. UWM also announced heading back to the U S Cellular and signed a lifetime lease. School also announced it is joining a mega conference following Butler and Marquette among others. Also announced an ambitous Athletics master plan including a baseball complex in Glendale.
