Just saw that former Oshkosh West star Meredith Onson is transferring from Boston U. to UWM this season and will be eligible for 05-06.
This is a huge pickup for UWM and Botham as Onson plays point, can flat out shoot and is an excellent defender. She'll rejoin former West teammate Nicole Almberg, who were unbeatened and literally untouched their senior season.
Anyone who has seen the women's team over the past couple seasons knows that point guard has been an area of concern. This might not be the case in 05-06.
