Dislike how the names look on the back. Could they make the font bigger? Should be fun to see how they squeeze Gustavson on it.
Not a fan of whatever that W is supposed to be on the front.

I agree. That W is terrible. I don't know why we don't use the Panther logo font. If we used it continually, it could build some recognition.

I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish. In my opinion that W is very distracting and takes away from a lot of the positives of the new jerseys.

Mark me down as another who agrees. The jerseys would be good if the Font wasn't so weird looking.

I agree that would've been preferable to what's on the jersey, but that font is pretty terrible too... it's way too close to a stock font from MS word and it couldn't be more devoid of character. Our last basketball wordmark was really starting to grow on me. The only thing I didn't like about it was how washed out it looked on the black jerseys when it was yellow and outlined in white. I actually think it would've been better without the outline, period.

Also, FWIW, the new jerseys are getting panned at the sportslogos.net forums. Adidas already isn't popular there because of their tendency to steal ideas from other companies, recycle their own ideas, and the overall laziness of their so-called creativity. Milwaukee's new font is actually jacked straight from Louisville's. They didn't even bother to create a W for it... they just forced it into the the V, which is why it looks so damn janky. Here's the link to the forum if anyone is interested: boards.sportslogos.net/topic/88604-college-basketball-2012-13/page__st__160

Another in the long list of reasons I hate Adidas and have been clamoring for Nike.

We've been adidas ever since Jeter came over from UW (an adidas school), right?

That is correct... although our first couple adidas sets were decent. Of course, they were pretty much the old Nike unis on a different template. The women have much nicer uniforms... in fact, I love that wordmark more than anything I can recall the men ever using. Milwaukee is one of those places whose name just looks better in script. It kind of reminds me of the old Bucks unis from the 70s.

I was thinking the same thing. Love our women's unis.

A uniform needs to be really terrible for me even to notice them. These are just fine.

I believe we've been adidas since Bo Ryan was head coach.

I know we were Nike for some Pearl years.

That's correct... I'm almost positive we were Nike from at least 2002-2005, then switched to adidas when Jeter became coach.
