Evan needs to be on the floor from longer stretches. He needs to "work up a sweat" if you will.

I hope Harris has picked up his game. Going from a bench warmer to starter.

Can not imagine Demetrius Harris will be a starter....talk about raw. The big thing with him is based on watching him it will be amazing if we can keep him on the floor more than 5 minutes without fouling out...brutal

My best guess at how the minutes will get split up. The total comes out to more than 200 because of potential for injury:
Starter Minutes (20+ minutes per game) 1 - Jordan Aaron (~31 mpg) 2 - Paris Gulley (~29) 3 - Bobo Niang (~20) 4 - Kyle Kelm (~27) 5 - James Haarsma (~28)
Key Reserves (10 - 19 min. per game) 6 - Demetrius Harris (~18) 7 - Evan Richard (~16) 8 - J.J. Panoske (~16) 9 - Ryan Haggerty (~16) 10 - Austin Arians (~10)
Additional Reserves (6 - 9 min. per game) 11 - Christian Wolf (~6) 12 - Mitch Roelke (~6)
Extra Depth/Minimal Impact (5 min. per game or less) 13 - Joe Tagarelli (~2)
Garbage Minutes 14 - Quinton Gustavson (~1)
RS - Steve McWhorter

This, in my opinion, is almost perfect.
I can see Austin getting more minutes because he's a 6-6 player who can really shoot the ball.
Those would presumably come at the expense of Hags, a 10-minute-per-game guy.

The way Austin looked and played reminds me Stagall from Butler..come in knock em down and be an impact guy on the court. Correct me if you think im wrong.

Jordan, Paris and James will be on the floor as much as possible. After that it's a pointless exercise to try to predict minutes. Too many variables.
Coach made the comment today that while the scrimmage can only tell you so much, the nice thing about it was that the new guys played the way they were expected to play when we recruited them.

It's not pointless. If speculating on who will earn the lion's share of the minutes this season is pointless, then what are we doing? Isn't this entire board pointless? I understand that you're trying to keep people from having any expectations, but I'm not sure why...

Watching him at the scrimmage, I was thinking he could be for us what Ben Brust was for Madison last year as a freshman.

Watching him at the scrimmage, I was thinking he could be for us what Ben Brust was for Madison last year as a freshman. FYI Brust was a sophomore last year when he had his breakout campaign. Too bad we don't have a little more depth to redshirt this kid. Even though he had a nice scrimmage I would think he will be like most freshman and struggle with consistency.

The other thing about predicting minutes is that you cannot account for injuries, sad to say.
Things can change in a hurry.
