I will be making my rounds Thursday night/Friday morning in the dorms to get students to both matches on Friday and Saturday, as well as the Soccer matches on Friday and Sunday. I'm hoping for a big turnout, but volleyball will be tougher to sell than soccer, so I'm happy there is a t-shirt giveaway to help sell the game to students. I will most likely be able to get a bunch of people from my floor to go. We are the transfer LLC so we have been moved in since sunday and most of them are just dying for anything at all to do. As for getting regular attendance from people, there are a few that i think might but far less big sports fans on my floor than i was expecting. We will see though. That seems to always be the case. Alcohol and house parties always beat out sporting events when there is a choice to be made between the two

I need help talking to people at Sandburg tomorrow to get them to go to both volleyball and soccer games. Anybody interested in meeting up around 10am in front of the Klotsche?

not sure if anyone would be interested since the game is on a Wednesday night, but on October 10th Milwaukee plays UW in Madison. Over the summer I joined up with the Madison 56ers NPSL cheering section, and it looks like they're going to become the official cheering section at Badger games. There is absolutely no way in hell I'd ever root against my Alma Mater, so I'll be decked out in Black & Gold on 10/10. I was hoping I could get a little Panther contingent at the game to make for some fun back & forth i know it's still over a month off, but i figured i'd add a few little incentives to the mix. if you declare yourself a "fan" of uw soccer for a night, you can get free admission to the game...i know it might go against some fans' principles, but hey, you can save 5 bucks also, i have the link to the badger cheering section's cheer sheet...haha
